1. Information We Collect

HireRank ("we", "our", or "us") operates the hiring leaderboard at hirerank.online. We collect minimal information necessary to deliver transparent hiring discovery:

  • Candidate Interaction: Anonymous page views and job outbound clicks to measure active interest. We do not require candidate accounts or logins.
  • Coffee Chat Inquiries: If you choose to request a coffee chat with a company, we collect your name, email, optional LinkedIn URL, and note to route directly to the hiring team.
  • Company Representatives: Contact email, company URL, and billing information for companies claiming leaderboard rankings or submitting verification requests.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data solely for:

  • Displaying authentic public hiring interest and ranking analytics.
  • Routing coffee chat and report requests to verified company contacts.
  • Preventing abuse, click fraud, spam, and ghost listings.
  • Processing Stripe payments and managing 7-day freeze locks.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We will never sell or rent your personal information to data brokers. Information is shared only with trusted infrastructure providers required to operate HireRank:

  • Stripe: Payment processing and invoice generation.
  • Hosting Infrastructure: Vercel and secure SQLite/PostgreSQL storage.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use lightweight, privacy-friendly session identifiers and first-party event beacons to count genuine candidate views and job clicks. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Coffee chat requests and report submissions are archived after review. Companies may manage or update their job listings, and request complete profile removal at any time by contacting our support team.
